  • You can arrive as early as 12pm on site Thursday to enjoy the hiking & lake.

  • Event officially kicks off Thursday 7pm.

  • Aim to arrive by 5pm on Thursday; arrivals are welcome until Midnight.

  • We unfortunately cant have late entry on Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

  • Sunday everyone leaves by 2pm.

Where

Art of Retreat will be held at the Glen Greta in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. If traffic isn’t too bad, the drive is just ~90mins from Lehigh Valley International Airport or ~100 minutes from Philadelphia International Airport.

 A Cabin in the Woods

On-site housing comprises of rustic cabins that sleep 14 people. Attendees will be assigned into the cabins which contain bunk beds, basic lighting, a wood burning stove, and sockets. Bathrooms are open 24/7 in the main lodge and zen center.

Mattresses are in each bunk but attendees must bring their own sleeping bag and pillow.

Get off the Grid

This is a rare chance to disconnect. While there is limited access to WiFi onsite in Gretna Glen, we strongly recommend folks put their devices down. Phone service onsite is functional but limited.

Stay Fueled

In addition to ten full meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), participants will have access to water, tea, and coffee throughout the day. Some snacks will be provided and we welcome participants to also bring any additional food they wish for themselves and to share.

Leave No Trace

We hold firm to LEAVE NO TRACE. Anything brought on site must be taken off site. Be conscious of the debris you create and leave behind.

Create the Fun

Challenge accepted! Attendees are strongly encouraged to create their own experience — bring stuff to deck out your cabin and the woods (art, flags, tapestries, speakers, etc), pack your slacklines and musical instruments, pick out gear to assist you in your night missions.
