What
The Art of Retreat is an all inclusive 4-day parkour experience—conference by day, adventure by night. Your ticket includes housing, food, & all the activities for the full duration of the event. See below!
When
The Art of Retreat is held over a 4-day span, Thursday, September 24th - Sunday, September 27th, 2026.
You can arrive as early as 3pm on-site Thursday to enjoy the hiking & lake.
Event officially kicks off Thursday 7pm.
Aim to arrive by 5pm on Thursday.
We unfortunately cant have late entry on Friday/Saturday/Sunday.
Sunday everyone leaves by 12pm.
Where
Art of Retreat will be held at the Gretna Glen in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. The drive is just ~90mins from Lehigh Valley International Airport.

Gretna Glen is conveniently accessible from several nearby cities:
Harrisburg, PA – 35 minutes (28 miles)
Lancaster, PA – 40 minutes (30 miles)
York, PA – 55 minutes (43 miles)
Philadelphia, PA – 1 hour 40 minutes (90 miles)
Baltimore, MD – 1 hour 50 minutes (93 miles)
These cities provide great options for carpooling, rideshare, or train connections.

Here are the most commonly used airports for reaching Gretna Glen:
Harrisburg International Airport (MDT) – 30 minutes
The closest and most convenient option. Offers direct flights from several major hubs.Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) – 1 hour 40 minutes
Ideal for international travelers or those using major airlines with frequent connections.Baltimore/Washington International (BWI) – 2 hours
A larger airport with extensive domestic and international service. Great for those coming from the South or Midwest.Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) – 2 hours 30 minutes
A good option for attendees from the Northeast Corridor.
Once you’ve arrived, we recommend carpooling or renting a car for the most flexible access to the venue.
A Cabin in the Woods
On-site housing comprises of rustic cabins that sleep 14 people. Attendees will be assigned into the cabins which contain bunk beds, basic lighting, and sockets. Bathrooms are open 24/7 in the main lodge.
Mattresses are in each bunk but attendees must bring their own sleeping bag and pillow.
Get off the Grid
This is a rare chance to disconnect. While there is limited access to WiFi onsite in Gretna Glen, we strongly recommend folks put their devices down. Phone service onsite is functional but limited.
Stay Fueled
In addition to ten full meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), participants will have access to water, tea, and coffee throughout the day. Some snacks will be provided and we welcome participants to also bring any additional food they wish for themselves and to share.
Leave No Trace
We hold firm to LEAVE NO TRACE. Anything brought on site must be taken off site. Be conscious of the debris you create and leave behind.
Create the Fun
Challenge accepted! Attendees are strongly encouraged to create their own experience — bring stuff to deck out your cabin and the woods (art, flags, tapestries, speakers, etc), pack your slacklines and musical instruments, pick out gear to assist you in your night missions.
